This feasibility study involved the overall redevelopment of a large property with a view to creating an organic farm in a peri-urban area. The owners are the founders of a major brand of natural cosmetics and wished to create a place promoting their values of well-being and respect for nature. The site is close to Gurgaon, which is one of the main business districts of New Delhi. Land is very expensive in this area and the pressure on land very strong; the project nevertheless set out to preserve the property by creating a haven of peace that respects nature. Owing to its location, the place is intended for an affluent urban social class. This study allowed the owners to refine their choices and to draw up a “business plan”.
